Another...Yes.

it seemed as if my life couldnt get any more worse. but on april 10 @ 430pm it did.
=[

I was leaving work for my break adn came around a turn at around 25mph and totally fishtailed. Slammed into this other lady. Do i have bad luck or what??

I had injuries this time. Slammed my head against the window and something on the steering column jamemd through my leg. I had a deep hole in the top of my knee from it and had to go to the ER for stitches. One came out today so ill be heading back to get it fixed. My mom and aunt think i should also get a CT of head just to be safe.

Not really sure what im going to do now. =[

Everything is falling apart. Have to now buy two new cars, and pay for both of the insurances to go up. Completely irritating, right?

but anyways. I have a boy now. James piccirillo. =] He seems to be amazing, despite some recent difficulties that have come up. Stupid girls is all i can say. maybe stupid boys, too?

They all seem to use the same phrasebook though. ha. Its interesting.

Sshh... Don't wake the babyyy =]

Car Accident =[

so....
Its Saturday night, i get home at and i get a text from my boyfriend james saying he wants to see me. I stupidly decide to drive to town and hang out with him. We met melissa at denny's. drove by the apartments melissa and i want, then went to this park in El Dorado. Melissa left so James and i decided to go over to Indian Creek Middle School and hang out at the playground. We layed in the bed of his truck and watched the stars. It got to be about 5AM and i decided i needed to drive home considering i worked at 1030 that morning and needed sleep.

I literally got about five seconds away from my house when i fell asleep driving. Yes, i fell asleep. I woke up as i hit the side of the road and looked down and saw the pavement getting closer and closer to the car. The car landed on the driver side, and started smoking. Eight cars drove by before someone stopped to help me! I couldnt find my glasses or my phone, the lady who stopped called 911 and a fire truck came. It was the scariest night of my life. I almost died! Scary to think about really.

The jeep is basically totalled, but i still need to take it to a mechanic and see what the damage costs. My cousin is really good with jeeps, and told me partially whats wrong. The quarter panel is hella messed up and somethign is wrong with the front axel. Not good.

There goes ALL of my moving out money. All of my next 6 paychecks. Totally not worth it.

I completely understand why my mom made a curfew for me. Yet i took advantage of the fact that she wasnt home and stayed out as late as i could.

End of story. =[

Liiifffe.

Work. School. Boys.

Its all getting to be too much. I'm getting in over my head with all three of them.

My bosses left for their yearly italy trip last week, so my coworker OE and i are running the kitchen until they are gone. (I'm a sous chef =]) Its exciting making all the food while they are gone, but at the same time very very stressful. I usually work 4 shifts, but now im at 7 shifts for the next few weeks until they get back.

School. Im failing Econ. Dont get it because i passed Macro last term with a very high A. But my midterm grade in Micro is an F. Depressing as hell. Sucks because i was a 4.0 student in high school. College is so much harder than expected. Its hard. And its terrible. Its so difficult for me to wake up in the morning and want to come to school. In high school i ALWAYS wanted to come to school. I love school. Im smart. I guess im just having an off year. Need to get on working on doing well so i can actually make it into a good nursing school. =[

Boys. Girls, you know what im talking about. What a let down.

Jackson =]

So last night i had the best night ever! Melissa and i spontaneously decided to head to Jackson Rancheria to do some gambling, and it was a blast. The car ride there and back was ridiculous and fun. We've never laughed so hard. Direct quote from MB "I think i feel my abs actually working from laughing so hard."

Our Missions: 1) Find Cute Boys 2) Win BIG.

#1 Failed miserably. Well we found cute boys, but we didnt strike up any coversations. We sat around on a machine for two hours straight and basically just looked at this hot security guard the ENTIRE TIME. When she saw a cute guy she burst out into her little mouse giggles, and thats when i knew there must have been a hot guy somewhere.

#2 went well. FOR HER. I lost 70 bucks, and she WON 500. Our new favorite game is the eBay game. It was amazing. By the end of the night though we both learned to listen to the other when it came to betting or cashing out. ha

I've never had so much fun. I've enver stayed out so late. I got home at 4, had to get up at 7 for school. Awesome.

All i can say is that she is so so much fun now that shes not with him anymore, and im looking forward to more fun crazy nights with her. =]

Miley =]

Last thursday i was on my way to my econ class at 1130, but decided to stop into safeway to get a bagel. I got the bagel, got in my car, and started driving away. All of a sudden, i see a tiny tiny puppy just walking around the parking lot. No collar, no nothing. I had to rescue her. I went in to safeway and talked to management to see if anyone was missing a puppy. He told me no, but to go to Wal*Mart because there was a girl giving away puppies earlier that morning. So i did, but with no luck. She was already gone.

So.... I went to the dollar store, bought a collar, puppy food, water bottle, leash, dog bed and food bowl, and we went to the park downtown. I instantly fell in love with this dog. She is so tiny, not more than 8 weeks old. My grandpa is a vet and said she is a border collie mix. She is absolutely adorable. My mom has yet to decide if i can keep her because we already have three dogs at home, Corgis. I have one of my own, Bella. But there is a bigger connection between this new puppy and i than there ever has been between Bella and me.

I feel bad for bella, though. I hardly give her attention, but i love her to death. She is the most loyal dog EVER. If I keep miley, we'll have FOUR herdingh dogs. Thats a lot of dogs, eh?

Oh and get this. My mom has conditions for letting me keep her. At first it was, Bella or Miley? but that was too harsh. Then it was "You can keep her if you take out your tongue ring", but i completely disagreed with that. So now it has changed to "Write me a one page paper, single spaced, as to how your life would change and how my life would not change." Preety easy i think, but i have yet to come up with a paper.

Picture to come!

Personal Ads

I find it hard to believe that i would ever ever post a personal ad on sites such as cragislist, but nonetheless i find myself browsing through them every day in the computer lab. And im not even looking for a relationship, persay. Its just funny to read some of them. I never realized how desperate people can sound in the way they write.

There certainly are some well written ones out there, but a majority of the ones i come across just sound boring and desperate and weak. Come on people.

All im saying is set yourself apart. Dont be generic, thats just boring. I mean sure, on the otherhand its not like people want to hear about how wild or odd or eccentric you are, but im sure they would like to get a little taste of what you are all about.

Point: Personal Ads are lame.

And what about the pictures? I mean come on. If you really want responses, id suggest posting pictures that make you look good. Dont post ones of you getting drunk with your buddies. And dont just do face shots! People judge by the photo. It may sound shallow, but its true.

Bad Description Examples:
1. "Hi, my name is Ras and I like to live healthy by eating good"-First: Brush up on your grammar. Second: First point you really want to make is that you enjoy eating healthy?!
2. "That is why I went to the Planned Parenthood to have my private parts tied too early"- WHAT!?! Not something id disclose in a personal ad.
3. "A little about my fascination with larger ladies: I love women who carry their weight in their butt and thighs." - OH MY GOD. All i can say.

I just dont get it. There were even some asking just for marriage because they want to start a family asap. Come on people. Get real.

Valentine's Weekend

I am so totally tired after this weekend. I have never worked so much!! I worked 12.5 hours straight on saturday and it was our busiest day ever. I didn't get home til 1 in the morning. Then i had to work at ten the next day. Ughh. So tiring.

Yesterday, Monday, my mom and I met my sister in Fairfield at the Nut Tree and we drove to red bluff to see our new house ( a model of it at least). What a long drive. 1.5 hours to Fairfield, then 2 hours to red bluff. Then 2 hours back to Fairfield to pick up our car, then 1.5 hours to Santa Rosa to get my brother from my dads house. Then 2 hours back home. Ridiculous. I;m never driving that much in one day again.

We have a 2007 Yaris, and it already has upwards of 80,000 miles on it. I think thats crazy and not right. We've only had it for a year and a half!!!

But anyways back to Valentines weekend. It was lame. End of Story. There's a current situation between my Coworker OE and I, and the pressure of valentines really made everything worse.

I guess im going to hate valentines with a passion until i have a valentine of my own. Maybe ill see the point, cuz right now i definitely dont.

Nothing in Particular

Im a little surprised that i havent posted nearly as many blgos this week. I usually do about three a week, but this one is my first since last week. Wow.

Valentine's Day is coming up here really quick, and im not looking forward to it. My work, Bocconato, is having a vday dinner. We are already extremely overbooked with reservations. Upwards of 60 people coming in i believe. All between 530 and 830. Ugh. It'll be cute though. Giovanni, boss and head chef, is making all these special entrees. Were also having a love letter writing contest. Best love letter gets a free bottle of really nice italian wine (we happen to have one of the best wine lists around, local and Italian.) We're also doing <3>

My grandparents, every year for Christmas, give everyone in the family a trip somewhere. We all go together, all 25 of us. Let's see, we've been on a cruise to mexico, hawaii, and some dude ranches up in oregon and upper CA. This saturday were finding our where we are going this year. =] Sad thing is, i cant go. Im working. Oh well. Gotta make that money. hopefully its somewhere exciting. They'e been telling us for years they're going to take us to Europe one of these years, mayeb this is it. But either way, its just nice to spend a couple days with family. Aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents. Its all exciting. We're all reall close too.

Workkk.

Okay, so work has been extremely stressful lately and i find it more and more difficult to even show up. I work at an italian restaurant as an Assistant Sous Chef and dishwasher. I go to school monday through thursday, and work friday through sunday. I have such a hectic schedule! Fridays and saturdays i work 1130AM-1030PM, and sundays 1130AM-330PM. It doesnt seem like a lot, but in the restaurant business it is literally forever.

Ive been there for 7 months now, and at the beginning i totally loved it. I've learned how to make some amazing food, and have become quite the chef. I really enjoy cooking, especially this out of this world Italian food. We have some really great reviews in the SacBee and online, and recently we had a woman from a New York radio show come and do a piece on us. Winter has been a really hard time for us, business is really slow and its harder and harder to get customers. Summer is going to be absolutley crazy though. On a good night now, we get about 40-50 customers, and thats a lot. During summer though, we'll get about 100-150 a night. Crazy. But that means crazy good tips too. =]

I'm looking for another job though, and when i find one, im quitting this one. I just think itd be nice to get the weekends off once in a while, and have some free time. We're only open thursday-Monday, so its already hard to get time off. Im really extremely close with my bosses and coworkers though, and it'll be sad to leave them. Then again, i live five minutes away and will probably eat there as much as possible.

Its called Bocconato Trattoria. Check it out. Its really amazing and worth the drive to Somerset. Come visit!

He's Just Not That Into You...

I read this book many many times and think it is one of the most helpful, sincere, and hilarious self-help books out there. It really puts a funny honest spin on a subject many women find themselves completely confused by: MEN. Yes, guys, as much as you would like to tell us that we are the most confusing creature on Earth, we as women can say the same thing about you. So before you begin analyzing our thoughts and trying to understand whats going on in our very feminine brains, I'd suggest you sit back, watch the game, and have a drink and let the girls do the nodding and prying. It is your brain that we will never be able to figure out. We will always be the one who over analyzes everything you do, ACCEPT it. We will always take what you say SERIOUSLY.

But now, for those women out there who are stuck in a maybe-it-is maybe-it-isnt type of relationship, GET THIS BOOK. It tells us all plain and clear that the sad fact is, he doesnt like us. He likes the other girl in the office who doesn't want a relationship, she wants a fling and that's exactly what hes looking for. We cant help it if we get so attached and want to settle down or take things seriously. That's how we work. Men, on the otherhand, do not work that way, and probably never will.

This book helps you understand the meaning behind their actions, and tells you things like "He's just not that into you if:"
~He's not calling you.
~He's married (or any other insane variation of being unavailable)
~He doesn't want to marry you
~He's breaking up with you
~He disappeared on you

Main idea behind book: Get over him. He's not worth your time.

Paying It Forward....Trying to at least

In my youth group at St. Patrick's Parish, we discussed the importance of "paying it forward." We heard a story about a woman at a Starbucks drive through who paid for the gentleman behind her, and started a chain reaction. There is a whole organization out there dedicated to "paying it forward" (www.payitforwardfoundation.org). The whole idea is that if someone does something nice for you or helps you out in a little way, you should do the same for three more people, and tell them, once you have paid it forward, to pay it forward to three other people. The tree of giving would just keep growing. There's also a movie called "pay it forward" with Kevin Spacey. It's actually pretty good. I'd reccomend it.

Melissa and I decided to test it out. We drove to the starbucks drive through and ordered our drinks, doing so slowly enough so that someone would end up behind us. Eventually they a did. An older couple drove up behind us, adn we could see through our rear view mirror that they were scraping around their car and looking through their pockets for some change to get some coffee. "Perfect," Melissa said. I agreed. I was hesitant to telling the cashier at the window "Can i please pay for the people behind me?" worried about what her reaction would be like, but said so anyways. Melissa and i got two coffee frappacinos with whipped cream, totalling to $5.85. The bill for the people behind me was about $8.00. I paid for their drinks and Melissa and I drove off, driving slowly enough to see their reaction. We looked in the mirror and noticed that they looked semi confused. Oh well. At least we tried.

The funniest part of that situation had to be the conversation melissa and i had afterwards. We complained "How hard can it be to understand that someone paid for their drinks out of kindness?" It was comopletely confusing to us and we ourselves didnt know how to react. We were laughing hysterically at the thought of being the cashier and having to explain to the customers that they didnt have to pay, someone did for them.

I had been trying to "pay it forward" since our youth group meeting three weeks ago, to no avail. I went to starbucks often, and still do (completely obsessed with it), and everytime i went no one ended up in the drive through behind me. Oh well.

Better luck next time i guess. Hopefully the next time we decide to pay it forward to someone else, their reaction will be a bit more excited. It's not that we expected anything in return we simply wanted to see a smile on their face. And next time, maybe they'll pay it forward to someone else deserving.

Maybe one small good deed will set a chain reaction and make that bit of a difference in today's world. It's at least worth a try.

Besties <3

Yes. Besties. For life. Her name happens to be Melissa Anne Blair and she is amazing. =]

I met her sophmore year at Union Mine High School, after moving up here from the bay area. She was the water girl on my borthers football team, and we just happened to start hanging out. After a while, we realized how much we had in common. I took her to SF fro my birthday one year and on the ride down we made a very very long list of things we had in common. Just to name a few:

1. Iceberg Lettuce Only
2. Texting NONSTOP.
3. When eating salsa, only the juice on the chip.
4. Same middle name. (Anne)
5. Country music <3
6. SEVEN!!!
7. Chasing Drunk men at Bars
8. Walking Downtown
9. Starbucks!

About #3, that may seem a bit weird to you, but oh well. We just dont like eating the tomatoes and all the other bunk that comes in salsa. =]

About #6, its an inside joke. We were on her grandparents boat, extremely bored and nothing to do. We had already eaten all we possiblycould find in the cupboards, and decided it was time for a card game. One problem: We had no playing cards. "Let's play a card game in our heads!" -Melissa. So, we did. We decided to play a game of war. On the count of three, we would each yell out a number from the "imaginary" deck. 1...2...3... We both yelled "seven!". End of story.

So basically, I love her. She's more than amazing. Sorry boys, she isnt single. (Her <3 belongs to Michael Justin Kerr. =]) Yes, over the years we've had our falling outs. But what friendship doesn't have its bumps? We both have pretty strong personalities, but we get over our fights and never look back. I'll always have her and she'll always have me. We both know exactly what to say when the other is feeling down, and we know how to laugh.

And yes, she may have her ADD side, but thats what i lover about her. She's so carefree and doesn't care what people say. She lives her life the way she wants. She says whats on her mind, and she is always there when i talk about boys. =]

XOXO

First Blog....

Coming up with a Blog title was so extremely difficult, I literally spent thirty minutes browsing the internet for an interesting country song lyric or good one liner, with no luck. So, my current title is just a place holder. Its not completelty random, however. My very best friend, Melissa Anne Blair <3, and I used to text eachother every morning saying "Good Morning Beautiful, How was your night?". Tradition, I guess. Since then however we havent tected that to eachother actually at all. Its a country song by Phil Vassar. Yes, Country. My absolute favorite music genre out there. Thinking about it now actually, thats a pretty good text to send your best friend every morning. Reminding each other that the other one is in fact beautiful, and not "fat" as we like to call ourselves. It's kind of reassuring.
I can already tell that my blog entries will never only be about one subject. I tend to ramble and find it difficult to stay writing on one subject for an indefinite amount of time.
